Miskatonic University Radio Episode 24: In The Clutches Of Chaos

It's like a chaos sandwich in here. A MUR-filled chaos sandwich.
Dear Investigators,

We are in the clutches of chaos. I would say that there is no food here, but there is... Sometimes... Dan's piada turned into a copy of Farmers' Almanac, sprouted wings and flew away. We are simultaneously in a state of crisis and complete normality. Regardless of us being certain of our mortal existence from moment to moment, MUR Episode 24 is here! In this episode: Dan, Ben and I talk about the new player cards in the newest mythos pack, In The Clutches Of Chaos. We promise it wont grow wings and fly away. Probably.

Hi fellas!

Lola player here. On the topic of Anna Kaslow, she's not that great. 4XP is a lot and I sense she got nerfed down to 1h/1s. My hot-take is that Lola is better off taking Lola Santiago or Peter Sylvestre, as they add to two stats and have higher health and sanity along with an additional ability. That being said, Ace of Swords is pretty sweet, and a figurative 2x Studious build has decent odds of pulling either Anna or an Ace on Turn 1.

I was curious of what you meant by Lola dying to rats in scenario 1 of a campaign. Lola's generalist stat spread means that she's testing at 3 vs 1 to squish those rats, before adding her weapon. So, it's unlikely that she would die to a rat swarm. She also has access to, well, all the tricks in the card pool for dealing with first-sceanrio threats, so Lola is pretty good to go!
